The Story of Mario Goglio

Mario Goglio was born in Alpette on April 2, 1903.   He came to the US with his mother Giovanna when he was less than a year old, arriving at Ellis Island on March 19, 1904.  They sailed from La Harve France on theFrench Line ship La Savoie.

With The help of his father, Mario opened a bakery in Michigan, which was sold after a few years. He later worked as a bus driver for West Penn Transit, until he died in 1966.

Mario Goglio married Margaret Arduino on February 2, 1926, in Leechburg, Pa. Mario and Margaret had 3 children, Donald, Theresa, and Veronica.

Donald has two children, and 8 grandchildren. Theresa has three children and two grandchildren.
